Designate a time and place to do Meditation every day for a week.

Your practice may be 1 minute or 1 hour – whatever you can easily commit to. Try meditation in the morning for a few minutes to start your day and / or in the evening to settle your mind before bed. We will exchange our experiences this Wednesday.

This habit is one I would struggle in and out of for years. I have been meditating is some fashion since High School. My oldest brother taught me TM, Transcendental Meditation. I was pretty religious about it back then. I used it to focus and concentrate on my sports performance. I came in and out with my practice, not always being able to just SIT...sit in silence. I was always moving. Had to be doing, never just being. Then I advanced my yoga practice and I fell in love with Meditation again. I still was not able to sit first thing in the morning. I was the one up at 5am and running by 5:30am. When I studied Ayurveda and learned the benefits of sitting and just being sometimes, I learned to balance my out of balance Vata and I could not believe the results. Now I can sit and just watch the morning awake before I hurry into my Breath Body Practice. You will find what works for you and start to change the way your mind performs to transform the way you want your future to be. Let it go...the mind Chatter! Clear your mind for higher consciousness.
